All integrated
1. March 2022
The Danish ERP company, Winfinans, and Venue Manager’s VM POS have entered into a cooperation agreement, which is already being rolled out in the first chain of stores. When customers buy clothes at one of the seven Janne K stores in Denmark or through the web shop, they experience that everything is connected.
Right from the smart checkout terminal, an E800 from VM POS, to knowing whether the item is in stock and if not, if it is available in one of the other stores in the chain. At the same time, it’s easy for the staff. Sales go directly into all the systems without the need for register statements or stock counts, and the management of the clothing chain can keep up, because everything takes place in real time.
Winfinans
Winfinans makes software that keeps track of accounting, inventory, and production management simultaneously, as well as managing customers through a CRM feature. The solution can handle several stores with stock in different locations as well as a web shop. – The key words are fully automatic and real-time, says deputy manager Jacob Walsøe from Winfinans.
This means that when an item is sold, it is registered in all systems immediately. There is no need for register reports, and the accounts and inventory management are updated automatically without having to export or move data around. In addition, it is easy to keep an eye on how things are going in the business, because the updates take place in real time.
Jacob Walsøe and Winfinans have been looking for a partner with register solutions for a long time. They found that in VM POS.
– It is important that it is a nice solution, that it is modern, online, and modular, and gives customers a good experience, says Jacob Walsøe about the checkout solution. He pays attention to both the design and the functionality, where card and mobile payment are integrated. – Simple and straightforward, he says.
Peter Gorm, sales consultant at VM POS, sees an exciting opportunity in the integration with Winfinans. – It covers the whole palette with warehouse, shops, and web shop, he says and explains that the first installation has run at the Janne K shop in Kolding since mid-December.
The solution
The solution for the clothing chain is just one example of what the collaboration offers in terms of opportunities. There are three primary areas:
- Stores that want registers with complete payment solutions integrated with the accounting system and the warehouse.
- The complete omnichannel solution, for chains with several stores, several warehouses, and a web shop to follow all departments in real time.
- Individual events and happenings.
The latter has so far been particularly troublesome. Because different solutions had to be put together for events that might only last one or a few days. But the collaboration between Winfinans and VM POS makes it possible to rent a complete solution that is just as fully integrated as a fixed installation, and that works plug-and-play with cash terminals, payment solution, accounting, and inventory management.
There is also the detail that because the systems talk to each other, customers who log in to their profile can see their individualized prices, something that is especially important for B2B stores’ web shops. See more (in Danish) at Winfinans here.
