Sheffield Sharks – British basketball

The Sheffield Sharks from the British Basketball League (BBL) have entered into an agreement to use Venue Manager’s solutions. This includes the ticket sales platform and the Venue App.
The Sheffield Sharks are in the process of building a new arena, “The Tank”, which opens next year. In parallel, they are strengthening their digital tools.
– It’s about becoming more efficient, about digitization and about getting more control over the data about customers, says Venue Manager Business Director, Peter Richardt.
He entered into the agreement with the basketball club and is now throwing himself into the implementation of the solutions, so that they are up-and-running in the autumn. This will enable the club to run on Venue’s platform and, for example, issue digital season tickets before the new arena opens.
The Sheffield Sharks are the second club in the BBL to use Venue’s solutions. The Newcastle Eagles are already a customer.
