FSV Frankfurt (DE)
23. March 2020
Venue Manager is proud to announce another exciting collaboration in Germany. FSV Frankfurt has decided that future communication with their fanbase will be done through the Venue App.
FSV Frankfurt is a German football club in the Regionalliga Südwest. Their stadium has room for more than 12,000 spectators. As the club starts using the Venue App, they do so with push notifications, stall sales, sponsor vouchers and news. FSV Frankfurt director Patrick Spengler is very clear about their goals for the initiative:
“We needed an easy and centralised way to communicate with our fans, and now we have found one!
The app will allow us to work towards three objectives: 1. We want to communicate with our fans on a more personal level, 2. We want to offer our sponsors more marketing channels and thus a higher ROI on their investment in us and 3. we want to increase turnover from the sale of merchandise and catering. We can achieve all three of these goals by using the Venue App.
We have already had a high level of interest from our sponsors in relation to the option of reaching our many thousands of fans via voucher offers and in-app advertising. The exciting thing for us is that the Venue Manager solution includes CRM capabilities that make it possible to split our fans into segments, and we can reach them directly with personalised messages and offers via push notifications.”
VM is looking forwar towards the collaboration
When FSV Frankfurt start using the app next season, it will be as a standalone module from the whole Venue Manager solution. They are however, open to the possibilities of expanding the collaboration in the coming years.
There is also great excitement at Venue Manager about the collaboration with our new German partner. Walter Ariesen, export manager for Venue Manager, comments:
“It’s always good to get new customers, and having a modern club like FSV Frankfurt as a new partner allows us to demonstrate that our solution is interesting in Germany, and that we can help German clubs take the next step in digitalisation, as many are lagging behind with this compared to the Danish market.”
