Access Control
Fast, flexible, and efficient access control with entrance turnstiles, hand scanners, and self-service improves the customers’ experience.
With our Access Control, your business can provide access to both physical and digital tickets. Customer check-in is easier and faster, providing a better customer experience.
With our system, we have both you and your customers in mind.
Venue Manager’s Access Control is available as entrance turnstiles, scanner boxes, and handheld scanners. All access control runs on the same standalone system so you can have several different variations of the system at the same time.
At some entrances you may need a turnstile, while handheld scanners might make the most sense at an employee entrance.
With an entrance turnstile, your customers can check in with their ticket or card on the Venue app or scan their printed ticket. Alternatively, employees can easily scan tickets using a handheld scanner.
You can select a single solution or combine them if it makes more sense for your business. No matter what you choose, check-in is easy, fast, and efficient so you avoid long queues, which provides a better customer experience.
A central part of Venue Manager’s Access Control is that you can create zones. Your venue can be divided into several different zones, depending on what your business needs. For example, you can determine that only a specific type of customer can enter through an entrance to support different ticket types. This could include VIP tickets, family tickets, or the like.
If you have a specific zone for these ticket types, only those ticket holders can enter.
You can also create different conditions for check-in. For example, you can determine that a pass can be used for check-in a maximum of 10 times. Or that the card cannot be used again until an hour after entering. This can help you avoid pass sharing. How you restrict access depends on what your business needs.
You can also use Access Control for capacity management. For example, if a zone has a limited capacity, the system will not check in additional guests until other guests leave. In this case, it can also be a good idea to have a screen to monitor how many people are in each zone.
Let us explore how the platform can create more value for you and your customers.
Our access turnstiles can be used for any event, enabling customers to check in with their ticket or card. This enables fast, easy entrance.
Our scanner boxes can work independently or be combined with our access turnstiles. Customers can check in themselves, so they enter your event quickly and easily.
Venue Manager’s Android hand scanner can be used to scan your spectators into your venue. The hand scanner is easy to use for your employees and volunteers, and quickly scans your spectators.
Our access control has a built-in emergency power generator that provides power to the access turnstiles, scanner boxes, and carousels should the primary power source fail.
With our access control, you can divide your venue into different zones, where only specific customer segments can enter. This can be used for VIP areas.
With capacity management, you have an overview of the number of people in the area and the system will not let in more people until others have left the venue. This can be displayed on a screen.
With NFC built into wristbands, you eliminate barcode scanning as our access control only has to touch the ticket or the wristband to register the guest and allow entrance.
